    I would have thought people that shop at places like Whole Foods and buy organic would check their labels...

    Man! I started buying organic after watch Food Inc and other documentaries. But I wonder the same thing. My bill has doubled and I know that the food I'm buying probably isnt organic. I guess I just want to support the idea. All the regulations on organic foods suck and there is really nobody monitoring it all. Makes you feel helpless

    I can't speak to the "Product of China" aspect, but my husband does the pest control for the local Whole Foods Market and I can tell you they are VERY strict - absolutely NO pesticides in the store or near any of their products.

    Good to know artemisacorn. I shop at a local co-op but I just wasnt sure if anyone could be trusted these days

    I most certainly do. And the only veggie I ever consider purchasing frozen is peas =0) Everything else I purchase fresh, raw, and prepare myself =0)

    BTW, Whole Foods did reply to the new article, http://tinyurl.com/brqgwmq, however I still wouldn't purchase frozen veggies - I just like raw, fresh ingredients.
