I have the duty of doing appetizers for Thanksgiving. All the people in my family are good cooks, so I want to make some nice and healthy appetizers to contribute. Any ideas?

Maybe something with laughing cow cheese. I know that 5 reduced fat ritz crackers and 1 wedge of laughing cow cheese is only 105 calories. My aunt sometimes makes crock pot pulled pork, I bet you can slim that down a little and use crackers or cut french bread to eat that. Veggie plates, low cal deli meats, maybe some Japanese drumsticks(recipe follows), fresh fruit plate, or Bruschetta.

    Hope this helps

Hummus is always what I turn to. You can mix it up by bring different flavors (roasted red pepper, spinach, or gralic). Server with whole grain crackers and veggies.

You could make a pumpkin soup. It is suprisingly low calorie and delicious. Soup is also very classy to serve as a starter. I've made this recipe and it is delicious! You could even make a butternut squash soup. This recipe is also very easy to make and quick.
