My husband's aunt gave me her recipe for pumpkin upside down cake - OMG it is the best Thanksgiving dessert ever! You mix some spices with the pumpkin puree, then top it with yellow cake mix (dry) drizzled it with melted butter and pecans. The cake mix sounds funny, but it is an amazing dessert!

Oh that sounds really good!! I haven't thought of a pumpkin upside down cake. I was thinking of doing cranberry upside cake.

Pumpkin gooey butter cake. Its a Paula Dean recipe found online. Sounds gross, but once you've tried it, oh sweet momma, TO DIE FOR! I only make it on Thanksgiving.
