I went into a wellness center 90 days ago and took a fitness test. The VO2 portion of the test was abysmal even though I have been doing cardio for a long time. My levels put me in the Poor category, ahhh that will teach a girl to start smoking in high school. So I went back in today for my 90 day reevaluation and my VO2 scores have gone up 73% skipping me straight over the average category and into Good! Thought I should post this for all of you struggling with smoking. I am only 10 months out from my last cigarette, and look at the difference it has made.

It’s only been 3 ½ months for me since I started my get healthy journey, quit smoking (been smoking also since high school, I’m 55) plus decided that I was sick of loosing and gaining back the same 20 lbs for just about same number of years. One of biggest fears when I decided to give up smoking was the weight I would put on… in the that first month I gained 6 lbs…started getting scared but stuck with it… since then I’ve lost the 6 plus additional 3 lbs, I’m starting to feel so much better after 3 ½ months I can wait to see how good I’m feel at 10 months.

    Congratulations !!!!
