Hello From Indianapolis

So, I had bariatric sugery 8 years ago and lost 185 pounds, but have gained some of that back! I would like to lose it. My biggest problem? I HATE HATE HATE to exercise!!!

Any tips for getting morivated?

    Welcome! I moved from Indy to West Lafayette about 5 years ago.

    I would start slow with exercise. Find a class or something that you can enjoy. Walking, yoga, skating, swimming, are all things you might want to try. Give it some time and you will start to feel differently, (I hope). Some days I only like my exercise when I stop. But I know I feel so much better now than I did, so I will keep doing it!

    Hi! I moved to Noblesville from South Bend 3 years ago! I agree that you should start out slow. Maybe even try DVDs that you can do at home. I am a big fan of Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred. I heard her other DVDs are great too but I haven't gotten to them.

    I live in Indy as well :) I'm not always a big fan of exercise either, but I have found a simple walk does wonders and helps my mind as well as my body. Good luck with your continued success on your journey. There is a group for Indy that I started this week also, if you're interested.

    I used to hate exercise... until I fell in love with Zumba... it's the best... fun, music, dancing... and you burn a ton of calories :)
