Im looking into getting a daily 8 cup water bottle for my house. This way i can keep track of my water intake at home as opposed to not drinking water. I sometime have issues with not drinking enough water at home but at work i can drink 8 cups with no problem.

Does anyone recommend a good water bottle thats BPA free? and one that can hold the daily intake?

  • I use a "Blender Bottle" I get my protein shake in the am then wash out and drink water out of it all day. You can get them for about $7.

I have several 24oz water bottles. I keep them filled and in the fridge. I can grab one and it is empty I grab another, etc. At night I refill them and put them back in the fridge for the next day. I actually drink more than 8 cups a day, but this way I know exactly what I am drinking.

I use a 32 ounce Sigg water bottle at work. I know my goal is to drink 2 of them a day while at work,.
  • Hi raven56706,

I recommend Klean Kanteen's products. You can check them out at http://www.kleankanteen.com.

Sigg also but after 2 years it has now developed a smell since you can’t clean it well unless you buy their tooth-brush looking thing so I switched to some cheapie sports-cap one I found in my cubbard for the interim. In the future I'll stick with a plastic, probably Rubbermaid one which is $4-6 at Walmart or Canadian Tire rather than spending $26 again on Sigg.
  • I like the 32 once Nalgene bottles. I got mine at target.

Second on the Klean Kanteen. I love mine. I have the 800ml one and the paint is chiping and it's got a few dings in it, but that gives it character! Makes me feel like I'm camping when ever I drink out of it. It doesn't hold smells. I can put a whole bottle of wine in it, then rinse, and have some water and it won't taste like merlot!

I love my 32 oz /1L camelback water bottle. I love the bite-valve and I drink at least two bottles per day to get my basic 8 cups, but I love the bottle so much I end up drinking 3 or 4 bottles each day. They sell them on amazon.com, vitamin shoppe, target, and probably a lot of sporting goods stores.

I have Siggs. Three of them. You can buy a cleaning brush at a dollar store. You would need a cleaning brush with any reusable bottle.

The problem with any plastic or Nalgene bottle is that it won't decompose. Ever.
