Weighing Yourself

At what time of day do you weight yourself? If you weigh yourself during the day, do you subtract for water weight? Do you weigh yourself with clothes?

I weigh myself undressed right before I shower in the morning. That way I stay consistent (& b/c I weigh less in the morning than I do at night).0

I also weight first thing in the morning before I eat or drink anything and AFTER I go to the bathroom. TMI?? lol. I also do it naked. Seems like a lot but you would be really surprised how much your clothes can weigh! I find that this gives me the most consistent number (although it's not the number I want to see yet). Food intake and digestion time and fluid intake all can have a multiple pound effect so I like weighing when I know it's been many hours since I ate and before I put anything in my body.
ps, I hate that I can "gain" 2 pounds in a day ( water) and then weigh in the next day and be 3 pounds less. It makes me crazy!0 -
I weigh myself usually an hour after I wake up, before I eat or drink.0

It's considered best to weight after you get out of bed in the morning and go to the bathroom. That's the only time of day your stomach is free of food and you get a true reading. It's also probably best to only weigh once a week although many people think daily is best. Still other people think monthly. I personally think weekly is probably best although I've been known to sneak on the scales daily from time to time.0

I weigh myself almost every morning... every other realistically... but I only put it in MFP on Mondays.
... undies and bra....yup that's it. sometimes a tank top and usually 15min after I wake up before I eat. I found that when I did it right when I work up it was not accurate because my body was not awake. So I usually go to the bathroom check out MFP and then off to the scale I go!0 -

Best time to weigh yourself is in the morning. If you choose to weigh yourself during the day you are dealing with the fluctuations of what you have eaten prior to weighing yourself and to the amount of water you drank. To get close to accurate results weigh yourself in the morning.0

I weigh every morning, after I get up for the day, I use the bathroom, get undressed then weigh. I only "weigh-in" on here once a week though, even though I do weigh daily, I just monitor that on my computer!0

My weigh in for mfp is sunday mornings. I also weigh about everything other day - at the very least sundays and wednesdays. The only number I truly worry about is Sunday but I like to see how I'm doing half way through the week to make sure I'm still on track for my goals. Otherwise, for me personally, I will lose sight of them. NOT this time. 4 pounds down and i'm ready for more!0
