I have decided to try it out to see if it helps with my back, as well as help protect the knees a bit while running. There are so many different kinds out there though, so not sure which to choose. Which do you use, and have you noticed any improvements?

I have been using the Osteo Bi-Flex Triple Action with Loxin-5 and Vitamin D since March or April. I went through a 3 week period when I ran out and hadn't bought more. Within a few days I could tell the difference. I had extreme knee pain where I didn't while taking the pills. I have since made sure that I don't run out. And I've run 100 miles per month since May. I recommend it to all my runner friends. A couple weeks ago I switched to the kind without the Vitamin D (it was on sale), but I haven't noticed a difference between with Vit D and without.

I started taking this for a while, but actually, I found something called "Zyflamend" that seems to help even more. Maybe look into both and see what you think.

There was a 6$ coupon for them in last sunday's paper. If you can get your hands on one

I personally am a believer. I use the Triple strength without Vitamin D because I get so much Vitamin D from other sources. This was at the recommendation of a pharmacist. I am always skeptical about supplements and particularly cautious because I am allergic to SO many pills/medications/products. I actually got the verbal support of 2 pharmacists, one who is a runner and takes it herself.

Could this be placebo affect? Absolutely. Doesn't matter to me though because I'm feeling better.

I think I saw some buy one get one free deals in a drug store flyer.

    Another FYI-

Pharmacist recommended the Triple Strength. It has 1500mg of GC. For cost purposes, you want to get one where you get the highest dose in on dose. Wal-Mart has a generic that is cheaper than brand. I just switched to brand because I scored some BOGO and had a coupon too. $13 bucks for (2) 8 caplet bottles.

I use the same and I have also used a triple strength off brand and I can't say that I can tell a difference between the two. However, I was able to get the Osteo Bi-Flex with a coupon and a BOGO deal at Walgreens, so it was much cheaper than a generic that way.

I am a firm believer in vitamin supplements to support your body. I have a couple of auto-immune disorders (endometroisis and chronic fatigue) and I truly believe that the vitamins have helped me to keep the symptoms under control, the GC being a huge contributor because the CFS gives me sore joints and muscles. I also take Magnesium Citrate (to help the muscle with regeneration and disposal of lactic acid buildup) and CoQ10 (to help better circulation) as well as a multivitamin (actually a prenatal because we get them free here).

Thanks for the replies! I went with the triple strength with 5-Loxin. The 80 counts where 20% more free, and the store had them for buy one get one free!
