I was driving home and a car pulled out in front of me after not stopping at the stop sign. I was pissed because the car almost ran into the side of my car! She turned down my street so when she pulled over I rolled my window down and gave her a piece of my mind! Hope she thinks twice when she pulls up to a stop sign. I think I gave the teenager a heart attack! Really girl there are children all over the place and I was coming down the road! Ugh! At least she was older we also let 14 year olds drive here too! That's always interesting! Today was a day filled with crap like this all day! Glad it's over!

I thought you were talking about me for a min , lol
I was driving and got to a four way stop , i stopped and it was my turn to go , I was going straight and the van cross from me was turning left so crossing traffic. I was more then half way through the intersection and this van turns out in front of me making me almost hit there side of the van. Some people should not have a license to drive.

I understand. Try riding a bike. It gets to where you don't even mention the close calls anymore.

I see crap like this all the time as a pedestrian - No one yields to us? Seriously - it's like touch-and-go driving, as we're less important. Example on a stop sign though?

A few years back I was running down a side-walk and coming across a drive-way exit from an apartment, naturally I looked first, and saw a car - and being the idiot I am, assumed they would STOP at the STOP SIGN, but did they? Nope - They drove straight through and I ended up rolling over their hood(All Jackie-chan like) and being the persistent runner that i was then - I kept running (LOL) after hearing a strangled - "SORRY" from behind me. I was tempted to go back and kick their bumper but whatever..

Another one was crossing a street, (WALK BUTTON) and 2 idiots not yielding and JUST noticing me last minute.

Good times. Glad you gave it to them

Chewing out another driver (either by following them or whatever) is never a good idea. Most times, they will think YOU are the one with road rage problems. Take down their tag and report them to highway patrol. I've done this, and they recommend this. As highway patrol, they may not be able to do anything in THIS case, but they may be able to do something next time. It wouldn't matter what happened...if someone flagged me down only to chew me out, I would think they were the one with the issues.

I agree. A good way to get yourself in over your head by speaking to them.

I go to great lengths to avoid the many stop signs and the idiots that don't understand a 4-way stop...
There's one route with none that's 2 miles longer to my house with no stop signs. WORTH IT.

To get from the parking lot to my lab on campus, I have to cross one of the main roads in town. There are crosswalks with walk/don't walk lights. I can't count the number of times I've almost been hit crossing when I'm allowed to because the person turning right doesn't know how to read the "Yield to Pedestrian" signs!!! Not to mention the giant white person and the big white lines on the ground. Thankfully I am alert and have managed to either run out of the way or step backwards!

One time I was running and just stepped into the driveway to a store.... an unmarked cop car CUT ME OFF! He literally drove to block me and he got pissed I flipped him off?

I was actually on my way home from getting a quote to replace my windshield from hail damage. Biking is okay for fun but for me it doesn't work as a daily thing. Getting kids to and from dance plus running lots of errands. I only get. A 30 min break once in awhile during the day so I have t squeeze a lot in at once. (daycare doesn't allow me to leave since I work normally 630am to 5am) maybe more when the kids are grown.

It was a neighbor kid and I didn't feel out of line for saying something. I figured if they wanted to complain to their parents I'd be okay with them showing up at my door. Police won't do anything but talk to them. We've reported other local teens doing similar things. Unless they are caught in the act nothing happens.

I hate four way stops. Why don't people know how to use them? It's not hard!

I understand - some people are the dumbest drivers. I agree though, that it's best to use caution with confronting a driver. You just never know what people will do-could be carrying a weapon, etc.
