So I'm a week into my journey of trying to lose the 50lbs I gained during my pregnancy.
(i know, lol thats alot... but i was a believer of "eating for two" lol)
My daughter is 7 months old, and I'm just not finally getting the umph and energy to do something about this! =]
I'm looking for people around the same height as me, and people with the same goals.
It's always nice to have friends on here with similar things going on.

I'm trying to lose my baby weight.
I have got a 22 month old and a 22 week old. I've lost 28lbs since my second son was born but I still have 9lbs to go. I would like to have lost this by 15th December (my Christmas party) but then I want to concentrate on toning up. I just want to be able to wear my size 10 clothes again.
I'm 5'6" and I now weigh 137lbs.
You can add me if you want to!0 -
Hi Beez89,
Oh your post sounds very similar to my experience when pregnant! i gained 46.2 pounds, and truly enjoyed being pregnant, and eating for two. My daughter is 11 months now and i found it really hard shifting the babyweight when breastfeeding- i lost some on my own and then came to mfp .(i have just weaned, and its made it a little easier)
Welcome to mfp, its an amazing tool especially for a busy mum- you dont have to think about it too much as it does it all for you which i love! Im hoping to lose another 20 pounds to get me back to pre pregnancy weight and actually would love to be a bit lighter the next time around before i have another baby, (and the weight goes up again!) so ideally- in a perfect world all together 42 pounds.
Best of luck on your journey0 -
Ahhh 50lbs isnt that much........ I was 118 the day I got preggers and 201 the day I gave birth LOL Yikes........ Thats a LOT.
Congrats on the new baby :happy:0 -
I did the same thing with my first (who is no 5yrs) and still never lost all that weigh from him!! I ate for two ate what I wanted and gained almost 60 lbs!! I'm still 11 lbs more then what I was before I had my 5 yr old. I have a 9 month old and luclkey with him I did not gain that much and I'm already down 3 lbs from before I was prego with him. But I have always been over weight and I would love to not only be what I was before the 1st time I got prego but well bellow that!!
Add me if you want!
And good luck!0
