I used to watch the read-out screen just waiting until I was finished with my alloted time to walk. I decided to cover the screen and just walk. I am continually going at least twice as long as I had planned. It really is mind over matter. I have lost two more pounds this week as a result!!

Congrats!! I'm a sucker for watching the time tick down lol... I find it boring unless I have music or something going. Good for you!0

When I am on my elliptical I usually click the screen to go into distance instead of time and calories. It really makes me forget about the time and just do it. I was going for 30 mins one day and ended up doing 55 mins...Boy time flys when you having fun :laugh:0

Another trick is intervals.... You have to look at the time to time the intervals but I tell you it goes by soooooo fast and you burn more fat. Go to youtube and type in interval training on the tredmill. There are alot of good routines and advice on there.0
