Major life stress + Nordstrom half-yearly sale (free shipping!!!) = much needed retail therapy.

I ordered a pair of wide-leg pants online...and after reading reviews that the pants fit true to size ordered a size 4!

Picked them up from the post office after my gym workout today...tried them on when I got home and...see for yourself!

    Thanks everyone! I can't wait to wear them out...but I need to have them hemmed a bit! I also got some awesome cute black pumps that are 3 1/2" high and the pants are a bit too long even with them! And I'm 5'10"!

    My first thought was "Oh my - even at half off those are expensive slacks!" then I realized "HOLY COW when I fit into size 4 pants I CAN BUY THE GOOD ONES THAT WEAR FOREVER!" I'm so used to buying cheap clothes or thrift shops because "I'm not REALLY this size" and I always KNOW I'll lose weight "soon".:ohwell:

    When I get this weight off - I'll be able to invest in some decent suits that wear well and will last a few seasons! WHOOT for YOU! :happy: :flowerforyou:

    YAY i size 4!! You look so fit and healthy. I really like how toned your upper body is (not creeping I promise)... I am about 50 or so overweight and have the bat flap triceps sooo I am hoping I can get my arms to look cut like that, just wanted to compliment you.

    Actually these were not that much more than the slacks I got at Target recently. But there is nothing more motivating to keep eating healthy than having nice clothes in a smaller size! I can't afford to replace the clothes I've gotten rid of!

    Thank you so much...I think I just got lucky with that photo...my 8 year old took it! I do have those bat wings. Blech. LOL But working on them.

    Sometimes I wish I could go through life posed like in a photo! LOL
