Just wondering if anyone ever tried Miracle noodles, if so how is the taste and texture?

Texture is a bit weird and rubbery, and they don't really taste of much, but they absorb any sauce really well and are great with a stir fry :) I like them.

I've tried them. If you buy them make sure that you rinse them quite a bit as the fishy odor is disgusting! Also make sure that you cook them longer than you would normal pasta or they will have a pretty chewy texture. They were edible but I would not buy them again' I have started using julienned zuccini that I steam in the microwave for about 3 min. The taste and texture is so much better and also the nutritional value. The calorie count is also very low. (20-30 cal for a good size serving. They go very well with any type of marinara or alfredo sauce and are great with seafood also.

They made me feel really weird. I was completely physically full to the point of feeling sick, but was also still desperately hungry.

I have 8 packages that I'm trying to get rid of. They are reeeeeally disgusting. The texture makes me gag, the smell of atrocious, and they didn't absorb anything I put them in.

Want them? =D I'll send them for free.
  • I tried shirataki noodles with spaghetti sauce but didn't like them at all. But then I went to Japan and had konnyaku blocks in an oden nabe (fish cake hot pot) and loved it. It all depends on how it is prepared, I think. But it doesn't taste or resemble anything like your traditional pasta.
  • Shirataki noodles can be found in quite a few supermarkets, especially Japanese supermarkets. They're cheap and come suspended in liquid, I bought a pack the other day but have yet to try it. It's usually in the cold section. (:

Yeah, I thought of dropping by Liang Court's Meidi-ya, Takashimaya and Orchard's Isetan... But I was so busy with my school assignments :(
