i made pancakes with body fortress vanilla whey protein powder and a boxed pancake mix today. They turned out okay, but i couldnt dissolve the protein without overmixing the batter. Is there a certain brand/method to mix the giant lumps of protein in?

Natural protein in the ingredients for my recipe. Oatmeal, cottage cheese, eggs or egg whites, vanilla and cinnamon. They are awesome!

I have found that Designer Whey mixes the best to cook with and they have an unflavored if you don't want any taste added to what you are making.

I would suggest whatever you are using milk or water for your pancakes,Shake it with just the protein powder first,THEN add it to the pancake batter :)

    Whole Wheat flour
Chobani - Non-Fat Vanilla Greek Yogurt,
    Baking soda
    Baking Powder
    Eggs
    Milk

About 24 grams of protein per serving without adding protein powder.

Same! No protein powder here... The pancakes turn out sooo much fluffier and more delicious without the whey "wheying" them down  Lame!

Equal parts oats (ground), cottage cheese, and egg whites. Cinnamon to taste. Top with some natural PB and warmed fruit. Breakfast of champions!

You can also try making pancakes with peanut flour or coconut flour. Super awesome and nutritious. Good luck!
