Ideas....

Hi,
I'm hoping I can get some ideas for more snacks that are low carb. I do peanut butter and almonds and things like that, but beyond that, I'm drawing a blank. I get a lot of carbs with my meals, but need to spend more calories without carbs. There have got to be lots of options, but I'm having trouble coming up with some good ideas. Does anyone have any ideas?
Thank you!

Yeah, see about exploring the protein powders to make either a drink or shake out of them. You can also add them to whatever you are already eating in some form or another.
Soy and whey protein are the biggies. I just discovered pea protein but I haven't had the chance to taste it yet (in the mail). There's also hemp protein which I've been reading good things about though it has more carbs than the others.
Pea protein powder will give you the most protein per carb unless you find a zero carb version of the others. At least the one that I got by Olympian Labs (vanilla flavored), it has only 1 carb and 25g of protein (109 calories).
If you eat meat, chicken and fish have zero carbs with roughly 25-30g of protein per serving.0 -
I like Hard Boiled eggs, deli meats (low sodium, thin sliced) and smoked gouda cheese slices.0

Laughing Cow Light cheese wedges are really good.0
