Just started the low carb (ketosis) diet. So far so good, but I'm running out of ideas since pasta and rice are out of the question. Would greatly appreciate some ideas to cure this massive sweet tooth, also.

At the risk of this making you run away, keep an open mind :
Take some avocado, blend it till its creamy. Now add the darkest unsweetened cocoa powder you can find.
Sweeten to taste with stevia (or your choice) .
pop it in the 'fridge till cool.
    The healthiest chocolate pudding ever!
    Go On I dare you!

Stir fry with any mixture of meats and veggies, we don't need rice anyway.

Lettece salad with sliced raw zuchini and raw sliced summer squash with tomatoes and cheese.

I will definitely have to try this. We have a ton of avocados that we need to use. Thanks

I make "pasta" out of raw zucchini...use a veggie peeler to remove the skin from the zucchini, then use the peeler to create pasta-like ribbons of raw zucchini in your bowl. I use about 2 zucchini for one serving. Then top with your favorite spaghetti sauce...the piping hot sauce softens the zucchini enough that it really has the texture of al dente pasta. Tastes delicious, too!

Yummo! That is what I'm missing on this ketodiet. I miss pasta. I will try that. Have to be careful with pasta sauce, it can be high in carbs.

I'm big into wraps right now. I get the Mission Carb Balance whole wheat variety.

    Wrap
Scrambled eggs with hot sauce mixed in
Bacon (turkey or regular) crumbled in
    Shredded cheese
    Sour cream

    Wrap
    Shredded or cubed cooked chicken
    Seasonings
    Shredded lettuce
    Shredded cheese
    Guacamole or avacado
    Salsa
    Sour cream

Check out Atkin's muffin in a minute. I love the sweet varieties! I do the basic mim with lemon extract and cream cheese frosting. Another fave is the basic mim with banana extract, walnuts, and cream cheese frosting. Also the rich cocoa mim with cherry extract and sugar free chocolate fudge frosting is pretty amazing! Same goes for a pumpkin mim with same topping.

    Pumpkin pancakes:
    2 eggs
    1/4 c pumpkin
    spenda to taste
    tsp. cinnamon
    tsp. pumpkin pie spice
    2 Tbs ground flaxseed
    pinch of salt
    tsp heavy cream

Fry up into small pancakes (easier to flip) Top with butter and SF syrup! I have these almost daily
