I had a good day yesterday and an awesome workout....hour long training session, with some new highs on weights and then got to enjoy the sunshine with a 2.5 mile run!!!
Today will be a rest day for me and then hopefully some cardio at the Y tomorrow morning.

I worked out last night at the gym - felt SO good....5 minute warmup on elliptical, 50 crunches on medicine ball, the leg machine that works inner and outer thighs - 50 reps each way, arm curls, reverse arm curls, then an hour on the treadmill. I was able to jog 3/4 of a lap at a time....I can remember when 60 seconds KILLED me so it's cool to feel my progress.
No loss but I am still so excited to know that I went on vacation for a week and didn't gain a thing-SMART CHOICES!! and a lot of walking.
My body is telling me I need to rest today.....I don't always do what I am told so we'll see

WOW Teresa you worked your tail off yesterday; you are my new hero!! Great job!
I had a bad day yesterday. Went 300 over my calories due to a weak moment filled with Tostitos and processed jalapeno cheese. Not feeling good about it today but I am going to move on past it.
Walked the dog for a half hour yesterday but did not make it to the gym.
Today I plan to elliptical for 40 minutes and then hit the weights for some strength training. I will also only be putting nutritious food into my body today!

This morning I'm going strong though, so I shouldn't have gotten to far off track. Tonight I've got a 2 mile walk planned. Hopefully that will help make up for my craziness yesterday.0 -

You go Theresa and Chrissyh - good job on the exercising. Things are going good for me - since Monday I have lost 2.5 pounds - YEAH - I am so happy to see the scale moving. I have burned over 950 calories this morning. Gotta go to work but planning on doing more tonight.

That's when I'd give a last round call - eat what you want this weekend and the rest is gone on Sunday night....I didn't buy any Easter candy - took the kids to Busch Gardens - walking and no candy - much healthier option. I can get away with that because my kids are 17 and 12 1/2. But it was so fun!!0 -
Still struggling with staying under my cals and sodium but I have a trip to the store planned tomorrow so I can get some healthy food. Only worked out 1 day this week , but I have gotten some much needed with DH. Will get back into it tonight after he goes to work. After reading Banks post today I think I now realize what I have been doing wrong and how to fix it. Today is another day and I see good things in my future.
I am sooooooo glad yall are doing good :drinker: .

well i reached my first goal today!! I am down 10 lbs from when i started here!! YAY
I didnt get real exercise in yesterday, but we are having a yard sale tomorrow, so I was cleaning out my attic last night and must have gone up and down my steps carrying boxes 5 million times!! (ok thats a slight exxageration, but you get the idea!) so i'm sure i burned quite a few calories doing that anyway!!0 -

Yesterday I had a great pilates workout, and i'm planning on hitting the elliptical for a workout tonight, and maybe some strength as well.
I've been right on with my calories and water intake this week, so my next weigh in should be a good one. I won't know until after my TOM passes, though, because I will not go near a scale until it is out of town! :laugh: :laugh:

I got in 40 minutes on the Arc Trainer last night! Felt great. So that takes me to 3/30. :bigsmile: My foot is still a bit sore from my fall during step aerobics last week...so I'm hoping I'm not making it worse but I really can't afford to NOT be working out. :ohwell:
I'm going to pick up my Bridesmaid dress today and meeting up with some friends afterward, so I probably wont make it to the gym today. My plan is to get in two INTENSE workouts this weekend and to REALLY pay attention to what I eat. :noway: I get so 'relaxed' on the weekends and think that they don't count, and then I kill myself trying to BARELY make up for it all week. So, yeah...that being said - I'm only down 0.6lbs this week. :grumble: Not quite where I wanted to be but at least it's not a gain!
On a non-health related topic - my BEAUTIFUL niece came home from the hospital on Wednesday!!! I went to my brother and SIL's house last night for dinner with my parents. OMG, she's still so tiny but I got to feed her and hold her. :blushing: Definitely already in love with the little glow worm! Thanks again for all the concern and support you guys had for us. She's doing very well and I think a lot of that has to do with the prayers and love! :blushing: Thank you again!

I did well yesterday, stayed under my calories... Didn't work-out much this week though(2/30), it's my TOM, was/is in too much pain (dang cramps - :grumble: )
I also lost another pound this week! :drinker: :smokin: :glasses: I was totally not expecting that! First of all because of TOM, and second of all {looking around} I had a piece of cherry pie every day this week!! LOL, I didn't go over my cals, but still felt a little guilty about it!

I totaly fell apart last night. Falling apart includes: Garlic Cheese Bread with pizza sauce, Chicken Fingers, French Fries and 2 Cokes. Now that I have my confession over with....I have my entire day planned out today, and I am going to the gym. I am not planning to eat my excercise cals today, to make up a bit for yesterday (I am sure there is still a lot of grease and fat for that exercise to burn).
This weekend is a bit nuts, but I hope to make it to the gym both days. I start my Hospice volunteer work tomorrow, so I will have to see how I feel after doing that all day, but hopefully I will get a workout in here or there.

Chrissy - I'm very excited about my Bridesmaid's dress. It's a pencil skirt so I'm worried about the cut on me with my extra flub in the front . . . but I have to be comforted that I'm 30lbs down from where I was when I started. And will hopefully add another 10 to that by the wedding! :bigsmile:
