RFL low carb diet ending--REFEED QUESTIONS

I am SO confused. I have 3-4 days left on the RFL diet, then a refeed for a day or 2. Does anyone know how quick that will be in my system so I can start running again? Normally, I ran everyday at 6-8:30 minute mile pace for 40-60 minutes. While on RFL, I was on a 2 week running break between sport seasons, so I cut back to just ellipticalling and weight training a few days a week.
My question is, how long does it take for the carbohydrates from the refeed to give me enough energy to run? Will I be able to run right away or wait a day or two until the carbs are in my system? I'm trying to plan this all out so I know what day I can plan to start running with my team and not have my energy levels in the gutter.
My plan all along has been to do RFL, do the refeed, and start/continue running where I left off before the diet but at a lighter weight. Also, I will be going back to my MFP diet of losing 1/2 a pound a week or maintenance after the refeed.
THOUGHTS/IDEAS/SUGGESTIONS?

I wish I could help, but i have no idea. However, you've piqued my interest. What is RFL/re-feed? Is it a diet specifically for runners?0

RFL is Lyle McDonald's rapid fat loss diet. It's a rigorous and very difficult diet and I wouldn't recommend it for the vast majority.0 -
No it isn't for runners at all. You hardly get any carbs. I only did it because I had a 2 week break between cross country and track and wanted to maximize fat loss before I start running again and go back on my regular slow weight loss diet with running.0

Interesting. I do low carb (aim for 25 or less per day) and was curious! Looks like this is low-carb, low-fat, low-cal and high protein. Neat.0
