I've felt nauseous for the past day and I don't know why. I've been eating enough, but I do suspect it was eating and then going straight to sleep.. but it's been constant. Help?

Are you dizzy too? Do you suffer from migraine?

    Not dizzy. No migraine.

    Stomach virus? O_o
  • Could be acid reflux, since you went to sleep soon after eating. I had mac and cheese at a friend's house last night, and my stomach still hurts. Try eating some tums and drinking water.

Could be acid reflux, but the anti-acids aren't doing much. :/

And.. there is no way I'm pregnant.

Nausea is awful. I have it a lot. I found that when I ate just one too many chocolate raisins or dates or anything, I'd be nauseous all night and into the next morning. Since I've cut down my food intake, I've not had it. Yours could be that or it could be the flu or something else. I use ginger caps for nausea. Really works.

Nerves can also make your stomach upset all the time. Worry. Fear. Emotional upset. All that can do it.

I know this probably sounds weird, but I usually experience some nausea for a day or two before I see some "down movement" on my scale when I weigh myself. I'm not sure if anyone has experienced this, or if it's just unique to me. I have always assumed that it's a side-affect of losing weight at times when my body is trying to let go of some fat. (Of course, it could just be the flu, too! :) But you can always hope for a drop on the scale soon, if you've been successful with your food & exercise goals lately. Regardless, I hope you feel better! Keep up your good work, and take it easy for a bit if you need to. Listen to your body.

I've started having the same issue, however, mine follows my light headedness. My doctor has cut my medication in half due to extreme light headedness and now I have this too. I see my doctor next week and hopefully she can put an end to this. Hope you start to feel better.
