How Long and How Much Did it take you to Reach your Goals?

I am just curious with everyone's progress. I know that everyone is different but I would just like a general idea on how everyone's progress went.
How much did you loose and what did you do to loose it?
How long did it take to reach those goals?
I am asking this for motivation as well. Because if everyone can see that changing your life style can really benefit you in just this short amount of time then I think people will be more willing.

About 50 lbs since last November:) I've used two different weightloss challenges to keep me motivated. I just finished one yesterday and lost 30 lbs in the last 8 weeks. It was actually 41 lbs counting the dehydrating I did the last few days (which sucked and I don't recommend). The real challenge for me comes now that the competition is over.0

Six months for the first 25 pounds, and that took me to my first goal, then another 4 months of not really trying all that hard and losing another 10.
As for what I did... I watched my calories and exercised more than I did before. After losing the first 25, I only watched my calories Mondays through Fridays, but I still exercised more.0 -
20lbs - 10 months.
The first 10lbs was reallllly quick, I think I lost that in around a month. The last bit took ages. I ate all my exercise calories but exercise still really helped, also when I raised my net calories from 1500 to 1750 (1lb a week to 1/2lb a week loss) I lost the last 4-5lbs a bit easier.0 -

I just need to understand this....
You need your NET Calories to be High in the Positives to loose weight.
My NeT usually stays around <450 because I burn a lot of calories during my cardio.
I still am having a hard time understanding this.
I am eating my true calories that i am suppose to for the day.
Then I exercise and loose about a 1000 a day doing cardio.
But you need to exercise to loose weight, but then this website saids I need to eat back the calories that I lost???0 -
4 years so far...still not there yet0
