Hello everyone. I have about 220lbs to lose and alot of living to catch up on. I am 30 years old, I am a wife, mother, and full time nursing student. I am hoping that being on this site will help me remain accountable to myself and my family that loves me and wants me to live. It's time for me to make a change and I am looking for friends and support from those who understand where I am coming from. I have been overweight all my life and I have continually put it on, alot the past few years. My daughter is two, and I had lost about 130 doing a low carb diet before I met my husband, and the weight just started coming back. Praying that I can make it this time, and change my life. Good luck to everyone that's on here!

I am Lesley, 28 with around 150 to lose. Feel free to add me, you can do this :)
  • I know exactly what you mean. I'm young and I too have been dealing with weight issues all my life. I just started really getting into trying to lose weight. I've tried going on diets, but being young and still in high school with a highly active social life, I never ever had time for working out and stuff. But, my best friends want to start doing Insanity. I've done about a quarter of Insanity before and I know what to expect. So it's great to have someone by my side helping me through this. And, I'm here for you as well! If you want, feel free to add me! I'm on just about all the time if I"m not at school!!

Just start making small changes...eat on a smaller plate, eat more food that is grown, walk more....park away from the door. It will all add up to weightloss. If you want it ....you can do it.

If you need more support feel free to add me : )

Good luck. I know what you are facing. I started about 3 months ago and am trying to lose about 180 lbs. Almost at the 50 lb. mark. Remember that the weigh was not gained overnight. It took time to put it on, it will take time to take it off. Feel free to friend me if you want.

I started at 226.8. I think I've been on for 4 weeks and have lost 6 lbs. I know that's a slow start for a lot of people, but I've had my ups and downs. What I'm proud of is that after an off day....or two:blushing: ......I haven't thrown in the towel. I'm still committed and am not looking back anymore. Normally by now, if I'd fallen off the wagon, I would stay on the ground and have gained back those 6lbs plus a few more.
I would like to lose 100 lbs ideally even though I have 91 as my goal.
Feel free to add me as a friend. I know you can do this if you take it one day at a time and recommit every morning.
