I dont know if this ever happens to other people but do you get frustrated when you look at peoples food diary(i do this because i LOVE to get new healthy ideas from people, i love trying new things!) and they have eaten things like corn dogs, pizza, candy, icecream, fries :drinker: etc and they walk for 15 minutes a day and are are continually losing weight(like pounds at a time ex. 3-5 pounds a week or more) and im stuck for like a week trying to lose .8 of a pound:grumble: ...I just get frustrated because i am SO jealous that they can eat all those yummy things and STILL lose weight while im bust my booty off and eating all this healthy stuff...poo. ok lol im done with my rant i just needed to get that off my chest lol i feel a little better lol :laugh:
and im not at all trying to be down on people who can do this cuz i wish i could lol!!! what ever works for you is your decision...im just jealous lol

Seriously though, that pic was about 190kcal. I measured one out today and used two waffles and made a big 'ol SAMMICH out of it. 335 kcal for a large double-waffled one.0 -
i don't get mad when its a treat, but when it makes up your diet, thats what upsets me. and ppl that log cleaning as a work out.0

thats what im taking about! Im not mad, i never said i was mad! I said im jealous cuz i wish i would do that! I freakin look at a hamburger and gain 10 lbs! and cleaning can burn a lot of calories! I was deep cleaning my house for 5 hours, like on my hands and knees scrubbin ever corner, and had sweat drippin from me! i wasnt just standing there doing dishes lol i was runnin around and liftin heavy things and doin my spring cleanin!0 -

This is exactly what I was going to write! Even if I could eat all that stuff and still lose weight, I'm not sure I'd want to. For me, a big part of this journey is becoming healthy. Yea, I still indulge once in a while, but not every single day!0 -
It eventually catches up with most of us. I guess it just depends. I used to eat crap all the time and only in the last year has it made me completely plateau. I miss being a teenager and eating a whole pizza by myself. But, you CAN totally eat those foods as long as you eat them in moderation. Still agree tho, sucks. I would eat fast food every day if I could.0

i can i just dont want to because i wont lose weight. i literally had 2 tiny pieces of pizza(at a work meeting) the other day after working from 11am-7pm and i was STARVING and i drank water(like 4 glasses lol!) and hadnt eaten at the 2 pieces of pizza were it...i gained a pound and it stayed on me for 4 days ...i cant eat anything like that without having major consequences lol...ive never been able to actually not even when i was a teenager!!!0

You guys need to read about this guy who did the Twinkie diet. Google it, he ate twinkies and other packaged foods while staying within a certain calorie intake and still lost weight! It was a story featured on CNN0

Are these people logging their sugar? I bet they are way over on their sugar and it will catch them eventually. I too get annoyed when people say 'cleaning' was their workout unless it was moving house kind of cleaning like I did last week. We all have to clean our houses, do laundry etc. Its almost impossible to track. I do 4-5 hours of ironing every Sunday night but I don't log it0

To be honest, I do not ever eat these - as a matter of fact I CANT due to medical issues.. Do I get jealous? Not in the least bit. If someone chose to eat those kinds of foods, it doesnt impact me nor make me feel jealous at all. I dont want that junk in my body and I dont let anyone pressure me into thinking "just one wont hurt" - when in fact, medically speaking it will. And if someone wanted to eat like that, its all up to them.
You have to learn to concentrate on what works for you and what your journey-choices are. The minute you start getting jealous of others, you lose focus on yourself....0
