iPhone Pedometer apps

Hi,

Can anyone recommend a good iPhone Pedometer app? I have been using the free version of Pedometer Pro (with GPS), but often the number of calories it says I've burned is higher than the number MFP gives for the equivalent time and speed. I'd like to be sure I'm not overestimating my exercise calories as a result. Walking to and from work is my main form of exercise - it's free and I can fit it into my schedule - so it's important I have accurate data!

Thanks

Runkeeper just added a pedometer to their app. Never used it so it might be pants but probably worth looking at.

Still fairly new at this - what does 'bump' mean?!

I've been looking as well. The best one I've found is pedometer. Sorry.

Really? How do I use it? I can't find it. I use Runkeeper Pro for my running. It would be nice to be able to use it for walking as well.

I used the "map my walk" app this weekend, I think it overestimated the mileage a bit. It was the first time using it, so I have to see. It is pretty simple to use.
  • Well I don't have iPhone, I have a Android Phone. I was curious so I started looking at what they have on the Market. It doesn't look very promising from this end. A lot of them seem inaccurate, send you spam, or you can't uninstall it.

I would love to hear recommendations as well, for either type of phone. Otherwise I might just end up spending the money on a pedometer.

In a forum, "bump" just means bumping up the post to the top of the forum. =)

Aha! Thank you! Thanks for the suggestions - I know a friend uses Runkeeper, but as I'm definitely a walker rather than a runner, I've always steered clear. I'll take a look.
