I need to build my self esteem up....looking for any suggestions on how to do that? Also, this may sound off the wall here :blushing: but I would also like to find ways to make myself feel more like a woman. I mostly feel fat and unattractive and I know it is a bad mind set. I am open to all suggestions to help change my mind set. Thanks soo much for your input!! Take care and God bless ya!! :flowerforyou:

  • It is not always what the outside looks like. The insides count as well .And I know personally that you are one of the most caring and loving people on this planet.

^^ This <3 I had to convince myself that lately, but I still work on the outside as well to make myself feel 100% better and build my self esteem to where it use to be.

Good luck darling. You can do it!

Building self esteem is always tough to do, especially if you feel you are not attractive. This is something that comes from within, so I'm not sure my suggestions will help. However, let's see:

-- Accentuate your best feature. Whether you have gorgeous eyes or a small waist, make sure everyone notices!!
-- Wear colors that highlight your coloring (looks like you have blue eyes; a deep brown always brings out blue eyes)
-- Although this seems silly at first, tell yourself what you're good at; what talents you have, how you can use those talents. Everyone has something unique to bring to the table.
-- If you're like me, each 5 lbs. I lose helps me feel more confident; just keep working at it!

I've always have self esteem issues too! They suck! What I do when I'm feeling bad is buy some nice clothes and dress nice... My work is business causal which is nice but when I feel down I dress up a little and it makes me feel like a million bucks!

Also for just pick me ups around the house I do my hair, and act like I'm going out somewhere....hope that helps you!
  • Thank you all for your input. I am home bound and u guys made me realize that I don't take the time to do my make up or hair up. Maybe if I take the time to dress up the outside that would help lift the inside...LOL

Please keep the suggestions coming. This is will be a long term challenge just like my weight lose. I KNOW I will win the battle with weight lose!

    Thanks again everyone!! Hugsss :flowerforyou:
