My name is Tracy and I live in Lawrence, KS. I've had MFP installed for a while now on my phone, but just started using it a few months ago. My goal is to lose 60+ pounds, so I have a pretty long road ahead of me.

One question I have:

When I signed up for the account about 6 months ago I weighed less than when I actually started using the program. Is it possible to change that base weight that the ticker is caculated from? Since I started using the site I have lost 15 pounds but my ticker says I've only lost 3. That's really bad for my motivation!!!

  • The only way that I have found to do this is to go into the website, then to "Weigh-In", then "Edit Previous entries" and delete any old weigh-ins that are a lower weight. I was having the same problem, and I deleted any weigh-ins prior to when I really committed to using the program and my ticker changed as well!

Hello!!! Yes you can edit your weight. Go to check in and push on edit entries. You can delete past weight entries. I have had to start over in the past! Good luck to you on your weight loss journey!

If you go into weigh in and there is a place that says "edit previous entries" you can just delete it and start at todays weight. I did the same :) good luck to you!
