Nobody around me is supportive of me losing weight because I'm not overweight, just unhappy.
I'm halfway to my goal and losing motivation.
Alcohol is a huge downfall for me, also certain substances that increase your appetite...
Also I go to a school with a lot of activists and feminists that go around saying "riots not diets!" which is making me feel guilty, which I shouldn't!
Need some support from some like minded college students
add me!

Try going to the Groups section of the site and searching for college student groups. I know there are at least two! I'm in one of them.0

Hi!
I'm in college and am losing weight - I've found that it's been easier since I decided to stop drinking completely, and also to make all of my meals on my own.
I know what you mean about people being unsupportive, but all you can do is ignore it and try to find a gym buddy or something.0 -
I'm in college, A lot of people think I'm being "one of those girls" when I tell them I'm dieting because I don't LOOK overweight. I am though and I just recently lost 8 lbs. I'm in the beginning of my diet and it's tough when people think it's silly for you to watch what you eat so carefully. The thing is though, I'm a health promotion major and we are going to be the people getting something out of this in the end and I don't just mean weight loss.
*energy
*studies show that healthy looking people get better jobs
*happiness
*healthier- mentally, physically, emotionally, and sexually!
I don't drink or do any type of drugs. I never have, I don't think anything is wrong with it but they ain't joking when people talk of beer guts- pace yourself.
I wish you the best! We're on a journey to a better life, better to start now then regret it later.0
