I just signed up for the March of Dimes 5k Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving! I am so excited! I finally hit being able to run a 5k the day before I turned 35--what a way to end an age group! (I really hate having to check 35-44, lol)

Thats fantastic! I didn't start really training or running consistently until I had actually signed up for my first race. Racing definitely keeps me motivated and working towards my next goal. Congrats to you and good luck on your race!0

I'm doing a 5K on Thanksgiving morning as well. Actually (if the weather is decent) my daughter (she's 8), myself, my mom and my grandma (she's 70) will be running it. So a 4 generation 5K. Gotta love that!0 -
