Bodyfat % test. One done before and another done xx weeks/months later.0

DEXA scan or hydrostatic weighing before and after would be a decent method.
If you are relatively lean, photographs before/after could be somewhat reliable.
And in before you know who.0 -

That last part is mean.. but funny.
To OP:
Body fat % is the one way to know for sure. I'm currently working on mine.. Gotta get my trainer to preform the test though.0 -

If you are eating at a calroic deficit, it will not be muscle. If you are in a caloric surplus then a BF% test would be the best bet.0 -
The mirror is about as effective as any other tool0

I didn't name anyone. Maybe I was referring to Acg67-replybot2000?

See if you have anywhere nearby that offers a BOD POD. They are AMAZING!!! Accurately measures your lean mass vs. fat in just a few minutes. Our local Baseline Fitness (www.baselinefitness.com) has a BOD POD and they only charge $25. I get one every 3 months. It's a great tool and gives a much accurate picture of your overall health versus that silly scale! Good luck!!!0

I had full body scan done at my health clinic in May with a follow up scheduled for December. The print out with data was quite informative and it was reasonably priced!
Had my results right away.0 -
I stumbled across this one day and according to the site it's pretty accurate.
