    ....I had myself convinced that I was eating a lot healthier than I really was, and deep down, I didn't really believe I could really get to my goal weight one day (now I'm 5 lbs away and thinking about adjusting it down a little). THANKS MFP! :love:

    I killed myself with cardio, and didn't think about lifting at all!

    I also was missing out on some great people... glad I'm not anymore :flowerforyou:

  • I would workout at a slow to moderate pace for 30 minutes and thought I was accomplishing something, so I would go to the buffets for lunch and eat because I was working out!

    Now I count calories, workout like I am insane, am 79 pounds lighter, thank go because most people don't believe that I am 50!

    I didn't know anything about Heart Rate Monitors, and eating back your calories from exercise. Heck, I didn't even know how many calories I needed to consume to lose weight.
