Probiotics - since something like 80% of your immune system is in your gut. I used to get sick ALL the time. I take probiotics everyday now and while everyone around me is getting sick, I'm still healthy as a horse! :o) I like Sedona Labs Pro iFlora - you can get it in powder form to mix into shakes/smoothies or capsules if you prefer.

I do too- L-lysine is great for combating cold/canker sores too.

try the air-borne fizz tablets. I haven't gotten sick in the winter while taking them yet (past 2 years)

Good handwashing...keep some sanitizing gel handy to use after handling frequently handled objects such as money or public phones; balanced meals and multi-vitamins; drink plenty of water to help rid your body of impurities; get plenty of rest...about 8 hours sleep per night; relax, meditate, pray. Also, the more colds you have when you're younger, the less you'll get as you age as your immunity builds.

Make sure you only use the new ones. The first generation had too much Vitamin A and if you used it as directed it could be liver toxic.

Warm Water Gargle is pretty good!

I was taking Airborne for awhile and swore by it, but then I tried Emergen-C and found that I liked it much better. Not only did it taste better (probably because of the added sugar/calories) but it also gave me the kick and boost of energy that I needed. Aside from the calories, I haven't quite taken the time to compare the two, but Emergen-C seems to work wonderfully. I take two daily to help prevent colds, or three if I've already contracted any sickness. Of course, a general healthy "diet" will help a lot when it comes to getting sick. Lots of fruits and vegetables, plenty of liquids (by this I mean mostly water, maybe some juices), and get lots of sleep at night and activity during the day, and there's the recipe for an overall healthy lifestyle. :)

    Hope this helps.

Citrizinc by Advocare, two chews a day. They taste like lemon lime starburst so I feel like I am just having a piece or two of candy . =) I keep them on hand and start taking them when I feel like I am coming down with something.
