Beginners Pushup and Crunch Group!

Today is day one! I started with modified pushups.
You can put what you did for today (if you'd like) and we'll update this thread every Thursday as far as our improvement for the week.
Day 1:
40 Modified Pushups!
(I'll put how many crunches I did here tomorrow, also, but you don't have to do both if you don't want to--just update us with how many you did next Thursday on that day--each week we'll see our improvements!)
Edited to Add: Just remember: We're competing only with *ourselves*, so don't feel pressure to be better than anyone else--just focus on bettering yourself! :flowerforyou:

Ok days 1 and 2 completed! Here is what I was able to do...
Day 1: Crunches: 50
Day 2: Modified Push Ups: 36
Its been a long time since I tried either so I am eager to see what progress I can achieve!

I have to be honest--I didn't do crunches yesterday. It's really unlike me to "skip" something, but it honestly slipped my mind. I did do more pushups today though. I'll def do my crunches tomorrow! Like I said, I usually don't "skip" things, so it was very out of character for me.

With push ups I have to sets of ten or I will die! lol :laugh: I've been doing continuous crunches but as soon as I work up to a high enough number I will start to do sets of 20 or 30.

I personally am doing pushups continuously. I also move from one form of situps to the next and do 2 sets.0

I'm the opposite--if I don't do continuous I can't get started again, so I can't stop! LOL

Here is my info. I was on vacation.
not sets just continuous:
day 1 push up: 15 modified
day 2 push up: 20 modified
day 1 sit up: 50
day 2 sit up: 600 -
I'm a slacker and forgot to post.
Day 1 push ups: 60
Day 2 push ups: 63
day 1 decline sit ups: 50
day 2 decline sit ups: 520 -
Week 1 challenge:
not sets just continuous:
day 1 push up: 15 modified

day 3 push up: 22 modified
day 1 sit up: 50
day 2 sit up: 60
day 3 sit up: 620 -
Ok harder than I thought to be consistant but did most days...:blushing:
Im at 101 crunches and 38 pushups.0 -
I'm averaging about 65 or 70 push ups and 55-60 decline sit-ups.0

day 2 push up: P90X Yoga...lots
day 3 too sore from day 2
day 1 sit up: 63
day 2 sit up: P90X Yoga...lots of core work
day 3 sit up: too sore from day 20
