Nutmeg Oil? Anyone use it in recipes?

For YEARS, I have been making a homemade eggnog recipe (made w/ very few eggs)
that I'd *probably* be asked to leave the holiday parties if I showed up WITHOUT this year (just kiddin')
But, it dawned on me (AFTER ALL THESE YEARS), that the GROUND NUTMEG (which is hard and sinks to the bottom of the milk jug)
is the little culprit which flares up diverticulitis come early January
(DUH- it's NUTmeg)
I researched and they DO make a nutmeg oil, but not sure it would work in the eggnog recipe-
and don't want to order it until I see if I can find out from others-
HAVE YOU EVER USED NUTMEG OIL IN PLACE OF GROUND NUTMEG IN RECIPES??

Essential Oil Cooking Tips:
For stronger spice oils - such as basil, cinnamon, marjoram, nutmeg, oregano, or thyme - dip a toothpick in a bottle of essential oil and stir it in the recipe after cooking. It is an excellent way to flavor food. Imagine, only 2 drops of an essential oil is equivalent to a full bottle (2 oz size) of dried herbs.

If essential oils are not easy to find you can take a whole nutmeg crush with a mallet so it break into a few pieces and boil it in some water.
I make a Puerto Rican type of nog, contains no egg. Just coconut creams and milks.
I boil cinnamon sticks, Star Anise and nutmeg for a few minutes an pour the broth into the mixture. No spice granuals to worry about. If you want you can put the cinnamon stick in the bottle to enhance flavor.
Hope this helps.
