P90X Opinions..

Hi, I' new here and I've been reading a lot about P90X and was thinking about ordering it myself but not sure if I should.
I'm looking to see what everyone thinks about P90X both positive and negative opinions to help me make a decision.
I am 5'1, 128lbs and my short term goal is to get to about 115 while maintaining muscle, and after getting to a lower bodyfat percentage, my long term goal is to gain some muscle.
I currently run 5 miles 4-6 days a week, and do 3 full body strength training routines a week using all major large muscles. I am also eating clean 90 percent of the time.
So my question is, do you think for my goals, what I'm doing is enough? My concern is that I might not have enough time to commit to P90X, working full time as a waitress and also going to school full time. I'm concerned p90X might be too much?
One other question about strength training: I read that it's not really necessary to isolate and work smaller muscles like biceps, triceps, shoulders and calves, especially for beginners, and also that beginners would most benefit from 2-3 full body routines a week. With P90X from my understanding, there are lots of exercises working smaller muscles. My question is not whether or not the program works, because it obviously works, but rather is it necessary to do as much? I mean, if I'm already doing pushups, pull ups, squats, deadlifts, etc.. am I wasting time doing curls and tricep dips? Could I achieve the same results as p90X doing less?

Believe it or not you sound like you are already doing a lot of the things Tony does in P90X. The program oviously works. I dropped 24lbs, and got down to 10% body fat, and put on tons of muscle. I went from having a pot belly to a six pack. P90X will get you in the best shape of your life if you stick with it. It takes anywhere from an hour to an hour and a half a day, for 6 days a week. Day seven is a rest day or you can do the X Stretch, which I recomend doing. You will feal a so much better after an hour of stretching. The thing I like about P90X is that it is a total body workout, and gets you in peak performance shape. IMO working smaller muscles is just as important as working the bigger ones, because they are all connected and work together to make you bigger, faster, and stronger. You'll also look better. That's my 2 cents. Good luck!0
