HRM recommendations please

Can anyone recommend a good HRM? I would like to purchase one that is easy to use and good quality but not too costly. Any recommendations?

Polar FT4 or FT7.. both are good HRM's and run you about 60 for the FT4 and 70-80 for the FT7.0

I got mine...I don't know why but I thought I could wear it all day...seems like only when you work out.0

The Polars are not designed to be worn all day - they are only supposed to be accurate when you are exercising and getting your heartrate up. The ones that are made to be worn all day are like the BodyBugg, BodyMediaFit, Fit Bit, they work differently and don't go off of your heartrate like HRMs do.
Also, I didn't realize this but read a couple days ago that you need to disconnect the transmitter (little black thing) from the strap ASAP after your workout b/c as long as it is connected, it is running down the battery.0 -
