Hi there I am after peoples view on the subject of sugar from fruit. we all know we are supposed to have lots of fresh fruit but there is sugar in fruit ok it's so called good sugar but it still counts in the sugar colum on your page.
Would you be willing to go over your sugars everyday to include enough fruit or do you avoid eating too much fruit to keep them numbers green !!!!
Look forward to hearing your views.

Are you basically asking if fruit is evil and goes against the laws set forth by people in the know, like MFP ?0

I would much rather eat my fruit than worry about my sugar column.0

Would never describe fruit as evil far from it and I eat plenty.0

I hid my sugar column for that reason. It's natural sugar, it won't hurt you
choose a different nutrient to track. 0 -
There's an obesity epidemic in America. The culprit? Apples.0

As long as I know my sugar is from fruit, I don't worry about the sugar column.0

I am more concerned with getting enough Potassium than with limiting natural sugar. If I were diabetic, I would check with my health care provider to make sure I was doing okay, but I'm not, so I'm careful about limiting added sugar, but freely enjoy fruit.0

I don't watch my "sugar" intake. I don't eat many sweets - just fruit.
If you don't have an underlying medical issue that requires you to monitor sugar - I'd track something else evil.....

I love this idea. I'm switching mine now. I refuse to believe that my breakfast smoothie with OJ, fruit, greek yogurt, and unflavored whey powder is bad for me, just because it has a lot of sugar calories in it.0 -
Me too. The problem with a little information is, it's dangerous. Dissecting nutrition is fine for the fun factor, but for some reason, not known to humans, it makes peoples brains fall out.Would never describe fruit as evil far from it and I eat plenty.0 -
See I knew this one would bring out the it's natural sugars comments and I am glad to see that fruit sugars and mars bars sugars are getting a differant reaction.0
