no, this hasn't happens but sometimes i get cramps that feel like i am getting my period. weird!0
-
Weird - this has definitely never happened to me.0
-
Never happened to me. I think you've got to have some kind of physiological issue to have this happen, it wouldn't be normal.0
-
Apparently I have a psychological issue. It's happened to me a couple of times after intense core workouts. I have cut back on the intensity so that it doesn't happen.0

she said "physiological" meaing there is a physical problem with your body.
NOT psychological, meaning based in the mind.
I'd ask a doctor about any spotting coming right after an intense workout, that sounds worrisome!0 -
It's okay! You're putting pressure on the abdominal muscles which can put pressure on the uterus, causing spotting. I know that it happens with a retrograde uterus more often but it can happen!0

Yup, it happens to me when I do HIIT or other forms of vigorous forms of excercise like Tae-bo (which is amazng)0

I don't suggest doing lots of crunches after eating spicy curry. Spotting may occur.
eta: Oops, didn't realize this was females...I'm talking about different spotting, sorry. :drinker:0 -

do you mean front spotting, or, um, backside spotting?0 -
Looking at the article, it would appear that it is typically an underlying issue to blame, and not the exercise itself. Definitely worth seeing a doctor about.

In all fairness it "could" have been backside for females.0 -

True. Some women are uncomfortable talking about poo with men.
I haven't experienced this, but it might be worth mentioning to your doctor. Do you feel any discomfort or is it just light spotting?

There's a group for ladies that have questions about their reproductive organs and all issues contained therein:

I'm sure you could ask about spotting in front and back areas if you needed to.0 -
I'd say it's not Lupus, it's never Lupus.0

The cervix should be strong enough to prevent this from happening.
See a doctor.
ps to Leprechaun, I'm glad someone can read!0 -
I've had this happen before after an intense workout but it just light spotting.0

Apparently I have a psychological issue.
Apparently, you have reading comprehension problems. I said PHYSIOLOGICAL, not PSYCHOLOGICAL.0 -

You should probably mention that psychological issue while you're at the doc for your physiological issue. I'm sure he can treat you for both. Or at least provide a recommendation.0
