My husband and I have made a bet, If I am at my goal weight by February 24, 2012 he has agreed into buying me a brand new wardrobe..(including shoes ;) ) So if y'all have ANY tips on how I can reach this HELP PLEASE!!

Yikes, thats a lot. Eat your bmr, no more.. Cardio for an hour a day high intensity intervals. Weights twice a week. No processed foods. A 3oz serving of lean meat and a plate of veggies three times a day. One protein shake on your weight days. That oughta do it...oh ya and do the 30 day shred. :D Followed by ripped in 30. Ya that oughta do it.

Now that is the kind of insensitive I'm talking about lol. Watch sodium that is key as well as cardio. Try to get what you can in without over doing it to where you don't want to.

What they said. Also, no artificial sweetners. They are not your friend. Good Luck!

How about stick to mfp, exercise and eat your allotted calories - you'll lose about 14-15lbs and then maybe he could buy you half a new wardrobe and just one pair of shoes?
35lbs in 100 days seems a bit extreme to me..

I've back tracked a few times. Seems everytime hubby is gone for military training I gain weight. Before he left for six months I had gotten down to 130, then he left 6 months and went to 160. then lost again. its kinda crazy. but i feel you,. just gotta keep on keepin on. 35 by then should be doable, but you just gotta get serious. cut out all refined anything. its ok to cheat every once a blue moon for sanity, but work it off if you do. try to burn min of 500 a day. dont eat over your rmr at tops. try to make good food choices. olny slow carbs whole grains lean meats veggies and no sugar after noon (kickboxing teacher had that rule, she did competeing fitness modeling) drink lots of water.

it is totally possible, thats about 2.5 lbs per week.. totally doable.. although it is not going to be easy considering you are not that big to begin with..it might be better to set your goal a little lower, cosidering your current size

    Cass,

I am very concerned that you will be losing over 22% of your body weight in 100 days. Particularly as your aim is to reach your goal weight. Most people find it harder/slower to lose weight, as they get closer to their goal weight.

I appreciate the supportive replies which you have received, but am concerned that you may push yourself too far if you feel that you won't reach your goal.
  • Although it's tough to maintain, I agree with the 3 ounces of protein and a vegetable (non-starchy) at each meal as well as 2 fruits a day similar to the diet people do for the HCG diet. It's about 10 pounds a month especially with a trainer helping on the fitness end of things. Good luck!!!
  • Well as much as I would love to be 120...if I'm toning in this process I am pretty sure I would be content at 135..I basically want to look like this girl as my default picture..skinny but muscle!

look at my pics, i've lost 2 lbs about a week and did fine. 2.5 isn't that different. i'm looking to lose 15-20 by years end myself. I've done it before i'll do it again. as long as you do it healthy and not eating disorder or anything than your fine. no worries. mostly focus on workouts. muscle burns fat more. try some HIIT, kickboxing, zumba, p90x, marathons etc. big burns. aim for 500-1000 per day. eat enough protien and not under 1200 cals or you wont be doing so hot. ellipticals and alike are great too.

And if you don't make it, put some quarters under the digital scale. It makes it read about ten pounds or more less than what is factual. :D
