When i first started losing weight I used to hate this picture... I had lost 100 lbs and i would belittle this girl....I would say that was the worthless fat me. I lost weight for the wrong reasons and that is why i never kept it all off. it was never about being healthy it was the oh la la factor. If you want to be a success you have to love yourself no matter what the weight. This was never UGLY! This was just unhealthy! You are not what you weigh. I hope and pray nobody ever has to go through the horrible depression i went through with my weight. I let so much life pass and i could of seriously hurt myself by wanting to be skinny at all cost. I would like to lose weight still..yes..but i wanna do it this time for the right reasons. I never wanna lose the Ashley everyone loved again. Nobody who ever cared about me only saw me for my weight. now it's time that i see that for myself.

You're totally right! I still cringe at old pictures of myself, but now I'm going to look at them differently. Thanks for posting!0

So true.0

You do look very pretty in that picture! It's easy to look at yourself and see ugly or gross, even though you would look at another person the same size and never think that. We judge ourselves so harshly.0

but its not me I dont like I am a lovely person and you just reminded me0 -
You are quite right. The girl in that pic is definitely not ugly! And weight does not define who a person is!0

Thanks for sharing.
I am not far from my heaviest weight right now and last night I tried to take some "before" pics for my blog and I looked and them and thought, you know what? This is better than I expected.

But if you hadn't thought that, you wouldn't have ever made yourself lose the weight.
Am I missing something here?
I don't know, seems like getting too comfortable with that idea makes it a lot easier to ease back into old/bad habits.0 -
i'm not saying that i was happy... i'm saying i lost the weight to be healthy... i'm not that weight anymore but the only thing that was wrong at the weigh wasn't me but my health0
