How do you do the 30 day shred?
It's a jillian michaels workout DVD0 -
Am sure u can do it..just my personal experience please dont do it immediately after any of your workouts..it would be very tough..but if u give some break or some time later in the day it would be better...wishing you all the best....keep us posted...we (group of 7)are in our 17th day ..0
-
You can do this! I wish you the best along the way, and I hope to see your after photos!0

the shred workout dvd's are awesome, ialso work out at the gym, but, i cant say enough great things about the way Jillian Michaels can burn the fat off with just 20 minutes a day! i have been doing this for 8 days, after the first 3 days, it will get easier.....TIL you hit level 2!
i did just about all of level one and two, was a day short of going on to level 3 and injured my ankle...so i had to start over
i can finally see some definition in my stomach, overall body is more toned...as far as weight loss, not much...but there has been inches melted away.....
you will be so extremely happy by day 8, and day 30 you'll be grinning ear to ear..
it'll get hard and youll have days where you just dont wanna do it, but tell yourself...."you got this, its only 20 minutes"
YOU CAN DO IT!!
good luck to you0 -
I don't know you, but I know where you are. You can do this! One day at a time.0

How do you do the 30 day shred?0

I've heard so many good things about the 30 Day Shred. How difficult is it for a beginner? I am just starting out at 316 lbs, and extremely out of shape - would it be doable, or should I wait to get a little more in shape?0
-
Congrats on starting! I just finished and have moved to Ripped in 30 with a group here. It was hard to start with but it gets easier and each level introduces new pain! I was surprised how many calories I could burn in such a short time and I even had to modify some of the moves. I lost 7 pounds, 12 inches and feel such a huge difference in my stamina. Keep up the energy and you will make it to the end and feel amazing!!
aliann30, it is doable for you. Just know your body's limits and pay very close attention to your form. When in doubt, modify, modify, modify and just keep moving. If you can, get a copy from your local library and try it out before you buy it, but it's usually pretty inexpensive (under $10) at most large retailers.0 -

I'd like to know the answer to this as well0 -
i definitely think its doable for bigger girls and guys just becareful not to hurt your self, if something feels really bad modify it to something you can do till you build up the strength, i follow the girl doing the beginner level stuff ( there are 2 girls in the back one doing advanced one beginner) im hoping that as i go along ill get better and be able to do some of the harder things
but really if i can do it anyone can i have a huge muffin top that hangs and very large breasts.. jumping jacks must look horrific but its ok i don't have to watch my self LOL!!!!!!!!
thanks to everyone for your encouragement its really helpful!0 -
day 2 done... i just want to say i beeping hate jumping jacks arrrrhhhh0
