Shoes. OMG Shoes.

This isn't diet related, but can anyone give some advice on well-made dress/professional shoes for women? I got a recommendation from my podiatrist yesterday that I need to be extremely careful in my shoe choices as I have a heel spur and plantar fasciitis. I stand, move around a good amount at my workplace. I have a feeling my existing shoes (mostly Clarks) aren't supporting my foot properly.

Anyone had any positive experience with shoes like Dansko, Naot, or Sanita?

See if your doc will get you referred to the podiatrist and get some insoles made for you. I never looked back once I had these. And I also found stretches helpful for PF.

I would suggest going to a store that specializes in fitting you for these kinds of shoes. They will have lots of brands to try on and walk around in. I love Dansko, but they seem to fit my foot shape. My friends can't wear them at all! Good luck.

Shouldn't this have been posted in the chit-chat section?
