What does MFP community know about reducing belly fat? Over the last year (b4 starting here) I lost a lot of weight- but the belly is still big(seems bigger relative to the rest of me or maybe im imagining it. I am told that is the worst place to be fat.

Sadly you can't choose where to lose fat from, in the same way you can't choose where to gain it.
Just keep losing weight overall, and eventually it will go from that area.0 -
Cardio helps a lot for burning fat in general. Do you work out?0

Yes I do work out, though a knee cartilage injury has slowed me down. Im a lot stronger and fitter, and have lost 15kg overall this year- but just getting impatient and concerned about the belly.0

Recent research shows that cardio burns more visceral fat (around the organs) and weight lifting burns more subcutaneous fat (under the skin) so a combination of both is the best approach. Also cut out booze which tends to deposit as visceral fat.
