Finishing Week 1

Hello all...

37 year old male that has at least 50-60lbs to lose.

Been sitting in a cubicle and eating crappy food for a few years now and it is time for a change.

I tried gym memberships, personal trainers, gym memberships again, weight loss contests with buddies, etc, etc, etc, etc.

NOTHING has ever worked for me. Today I finished week one of a very intense 8 week (5-6 days a week) group program. I have gotten up at 5:15am every morning and gone in and done my best. I have nailed the nutrition part all week. Let's hope I can keep it up.

For me this isn't a "diet", it is hopefully a lifestyle change. I have been tempted a couple of times already this week and pushed through. Self control and determination is what it is all about.

When you get older there aren't as many exciting or epic things happening if your life or major goals to accomplish. This one is mine and I will make it happen.
