The other day I was going to post about something (my memory is crap, so I have no clue what it was), but then I found my answer here! Then, same thing all over again.... and now we have today, I'm sitting here about to post about my plateau, and there was already a post! A recent one at that, with some really great advice, buuuuuuuut thought I would throw mine in anyway! I realized today that I hit mine every 6 pounds, then I fluctuate up and down 1-2 lbs (usually 2).

One guy said to eat twice your bmr one day a week, which I sort of did yesterday. Well, I didn't eat THAT much, but I just ate what I wanted (ohhhh Happy fat kid Day!), and today I'm going back to my routine...so we shall see!

I am wondering though why I plateau out that often...anyone have any ideas?

Oh, and I wanted to add that you guys are so freakin awesome. I put on a pair of jeans that I have not squeezed all this booty in, in almost 2 yrs...and they look so so good! Couldn't have done it without all the support and advice...whether good/bad. :)

Yep, I saw yours...and there was some good stuff on there, I guess. I mean, I've tried this and that, and none of it seems to work. I just start randomly losing again, and then it stops.

    Bump

    What does that mean???

People tend to just write "bump" on a topic that they like/are interested in and want to come back later. By commenting, and just writing "bump' it saves onto their page so that they can find it easily later.

The source police will get mad at me because I can't find the article - but I'm pretty sure I read that you're body plateau-ing is part of resetting your set point weight. (i.e. if my body wants to be 160 lbs and I get down to 155 lbs, it has to readjust to a new set point) Just keep up the good work!

Makes sense...sort of. I ate like a fat kid at lunch today, and loved it! I didn't eat a whole lot, just the stuff I wanted to. Freakin banana pudding! And my jeans still fit! Whoo!!
