Hey everyone, I want to make a healthy cranberry sauce/salad for Thanksgiving this year using fresh/frozen cranberries. Any suggestions?

My go-to recipe is a bag of fresh cranberries (I think it's about 12 oz.? they should be out in the produce section of grocery stores) combined with a cup of water, cup of sugar, and two oranges that have been peeled (save zest from one orange), cut in half across the "width" of the orange, and sectioned (so the sections themselves are in halves). I throw everything into a saucepan and simmer for about 15 minutes, or until the cranberries have burst. Then stir in the zest and add a splash of Grand Marnier (optional).
Total yum.
To make it healthier, you can substitute the cup of sugar with Splenda (but I'd try it with 1/3 cup of Splenda first, then add to taste).0 -
1 bag of cranberries, 1c oj, and 1/2c sugar. more if you like it sweeter. you can add in some cinnamon or fresh grated nutmeg. mix all and cook til the berries pop and start to thicken the liquid. enjoy :bigsmile:0

I just posted one on my blog yesterday. You can replace the blackberries in it with more cranberries if you like.
