...i noticed my body has changed a lot. My weight hasn't dropped but i notice i'm a lot more toned, maybe even slightly thinner.

Is this normal?

absolutely, measure yourself now before you lose more. you will be surprised especially when you get close to your goal as the inches will drop faster than the scale

When numbers dont change, the body is catching up and you will find inches gone or more toning going on than lbs dropping. It is a GOOD thing!
  • The exact same thing is happening to me. In fact, I gained weight when I first started. But, I am still losing inches and that is what really matters to me

I haven't lost weight either, but I notice I look smaller. I have NOT exercised AT ALL, so I know I am NOT gaining muscle. Anyone care to explain this?

As you tone, you'll gain muscle which is heavier. Muscle is GOOD, but then you'll gain weight, know what I mean......

Perfectly normal and the fact you've noticed a difference in your body is wonderful. That means you're not losing muscle and that your body is going back to its natural state. I'd rather feel changes like you describe then lose weight any day. At the end of the day, body composition is far more important than weight. Weight is not a true measure of health or the condition of the body. It's just a measure.

If you take a cup of fat and a cup of muscle and weigh them the muscle will weigh more. So if you building muscle (and getting leaner in the process) your weight might not change.
