Calories counting watches

Hello every one, I am new at all this and could:smile: use some help with something. I went to wal- mart and got one of there calories counting , burn watches. now i have people telling me that they are not accurate. so should I use it or not. HELP PLEASE

    I hear the ones from walmart aren't that accurate. If you want one thats accurate you'll have to invest a little more money into it.

    People on this site recommended me the polar ft4, and the cheapest I found was $60 on Amazon. It works really well, I love it so far

    can you tell us more about the product? brand, style, functionality, etc

    and are you going to use it to monitor aerobic exercise? anything else and it's not reliable

    The ones with a strap that goes around your chest are the most accurate kind

    If it does not have a chest strap it is not very accurate. I have one from Wal-mart with a strap and it (Sportline) and it works fine.

    polar ft4 was it hard to set up? I have the walmart on and still can't get it set up right. I have the one with the chest strap.
