I started really attempting weightloss in June 2011, 5 months ago, and I'm down 42 pounds since then. I have some more gruesome before & after pics to share after I feel like my progress is a lot further. I'm only a small way toward my goal so far.
However, I do work in a school, so I have the requisite "school pics' every year. Same photographer... same shirt... different tie
I'm still fat, but my face seems to have thinned out a lot. It's encouraging when people notice that.

2010 pic... weight = 340-350 ... 2011 pic... weight = 310 (current = 302.2... slow and steady!)

Great job on your progress! You can certainly see a difference in your face! Just think of the differences there will be in next year's photos! Congratulations and keep up the amazing work0

Goo job! And yes, you can see the difference.0

if nothing else you look about 10 years younger!0

Thanks everybody!!0

Yep, your face is for sure thinner, and there's a noteable difference in the neck too, and the way the shirt is sitting on you as well. You are doing great!0

Here's one for the archives, from a really awful digicam from 'back in the day' ... 10 years ago. Anyone care to venture on my weight in this pic? I'm 6'1" tall, for some perspective on height. I didn't weigh back then, for a variety of reasons, including that most scales wouldn't read my weight.
I'm not happy with my weight yet, but I'm very pleased not to be at this weight. Addendum: I weighed 365 at WeightWatchers about 5 years ago, and I feel like I may have been above that 10 years ago (in this pic).0 -
Since I'm on a roll with pictures of me... hah. I'm actually trying to figure out exactly when I was at my highest. I've "yo-yo'd" a little bit over the years, but I've been in the 300-365+ range probably since about age 15. There were long years I went with no measured weight.
Any guesses on my weight in this one? From 1998 at a friend's wedding. That tux didn't really fit. My belly stuck out, because the jacket wasn't big enough.0 -
P.S., yes, I know there's a lot more hair back then. Don't need to hear it:)0

You look so much younger! Just think, when you reach goal you might be mistaken for a student!! Keep it up, you are doing so fantastic!0

I agree, you do look much younger. Keep up the good work.0
