...but i dont have a gym membership or money for a bunch of weights..
i have 3lb 5lb and 8lb hand weights, and some resistance bands for now and wondering what kind of things i could do with them to get the best results. i was thinking about doing zumba every other day and something more strength based on the other days...

you already have the best strength training gym in the world, your own body. Try doing some research on body weight strength training online and Yoga for strength and fitness. I think you will be impressed, and best of all...your gym is free.0

Jennifer Nicole Lee has a few books on home body building. I recommend these highly! I found some of her stuff on Bodybuilding.com. You should also check amazon.com to find titles and look for them in your library. I got two of her DVDs from my library in Missouri. Good luck!0

Try Sit-ups, Push-ups, and chair dips. Resistance bands are great.0

and all the above... Calisthenics...use your own body weight and any other "heavy" things you can find lying round the house... hold on to them whilst doing squats and lunges, try push-ups, sit-ups, burpees, the plank... hand stepups...0 -
Check with your local YMCA. Many offer free or reduced fee memberships for people that could not otherwise afford to join.0

Do pushups. They hard to do but there are lots of modifications. You can do simple wall pushups. You can also do rows using your door frame. You don't need any equipment to build muscle and strength.0

Go to fitnessmag.com they have workouts already put together for you. I worked out with a personal trainer from February to July. August to now I use that!
