So just last week I decided to get serious about the whole weight loss thing. I had been drinking 2 slimfast drinks everyday and having a decent dinner. Then came Thursday-ate crap; followed by Friday, not as bad, but still not good. I capped off the weekend by eating crappy again today!!

I need some suggestions on quick and easy ways to fix veggies/fruits so that I can just grab and go!

The most success I have is when I spend an evening preparing foods for the week. That way it's just microwave and go. Also, I've never done the shake/meal replacement thing, but try eating more small meals and maybe you will have less of an urge to binge. Works well for me.

Besides dinner, were you only having the slimfast? I think that's going to backfire in the long-run and it can't be healthy.

As far as fruits and veggies:
I always buy a bag of celery and chop it into smaller pieces as soon as I get home and throw it into tupperware containers for the week. I eat them with baby carrots and 100- calorie packs of guacamole (more veggies) or some hummus.

You can also cut bell peppers or cucumbers and pack a bit of salsa to go with it.

For fruits I usually just throw an apple, pear, or peach in my bag and I'm good to go. Of course you could always dice them if you prefer and pair them with plain non-fat yogurt.

Most fruits are easy. Apples, pears, plums, bannanas. all easy grab and go. I like to eat baby carrots instead of chips. I get my crunch with out packing on the cals. Salads are always a good meal starter. I buy the pre mixed bags. I eat them first so when I get into the meal I'm not as hungry and wont eat as much junk. If you fit an exercise it gives you more cals to work with. I usually just walk for 45 to 60 minutes a day and that gives me an extra 230 cals. It'll get easier once you get into the grove of things. I've also lowered how many lbs I want to lose a week. I'm thinking long term not short term. I want to get there, I'm just not ready to change everything to get there.
