Coming up on the first weigh in

So, I am new to MFP and have been counting for 6 days. I decided to weigh in once a week "officially," though I have to admit, I have been on the scale everyday this week. I feel good about the weigh in right now. Hopefully I stay on the right track for the whole weekend. It is easy for me to eat right during the week, but the weekend is a different story. Like today, I helped my brother-in-law move. He got everyone pizza and sugar drinks as a thank you. I was able to resist because I know the weigh in is coming up.

Hopefully everything goes well and I see progress on the scale.

  • Good for you for resisting! I took my son to pizza hut last night and i resisted. I too am doing the same thing you are, an official weekly weigh in. I started last sunday and tomorrow is my first weigh in. I have watched my calories all week and exercised every day! Good luck to you!

    that is serious willpower! after all that work (moving) i would have been sooooo tempted. good for you.

    I weigh myself way too often, but only log it every few pounds. i get an official weigh in at the doctor's every second week, so the last time I put in my weight here prior to an appointment is usually 3 days before. (i weigh in on tuesday, so I won't log it here after friday, cuz my scale might not be as accurate.)
    I seem to be stuck these last couple days, hoping i drop a bit before tuesday.

  • Good for you! Pizza is a big weak spot for me! If you can resist it once, you can do it again and again! Good luck on your weigh in!

    oh resisting a pizza is so very hard. I told myself I am even allowed to have a pizza, but instead of a whole one I just eat a slize. Allowed to eat everything, but watch how much of it :) We order pizza and pasta all the time at work for lunch, so that is my pet peeve. Always have to bring my own food from now on :)

    Good luck on your weight in and stay motivated like you are already, you resisted once you can do it again :)
